Ted and Carmen have spent over 40 years fighting to protect indigenous peoples rights through scholarship and advocacy. Be it among Zapotecs in Oaxaca, Mexico or Pehuenches in the Alto Bio Bio of Chile, they have trained local indigenous peoples in research methods, thereby empowering peoples.
